City Council from 2006 to 2010, and as Senior Assistant City Attorney assigned to the L.A. Department of Water and Power from 2010 to 2014. Prior to moving to L.A., Angeles served in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office where he was assigned to the San Francisco International Airport’s Legal Division. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Angeles also previously served as an adjunct faculty member at Loyola Law School in L.A. and a member of the State Bar of California’s Committee of Bar Examiners. He was an elected school board member on the Jefferson Union High School Governing Board of Trustees and a Governor Brown appointee to the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
